Introducing
M&K Trommel Fines Treatment Plant supplied by FOCUS enviro can further reduce the amount of waste going to landfill. Trommel fines contain inert material such as stones, aggregates, glass and soils which are naturally occurring. Trommel fines can also contain fibres, films, plastics, wood and textiles.
Utilising a combination of flip flow screen technology and magnetic and air density separation, M&K Trommel Fines Treatment plants can segregate lighter non-inert fractions from the inert material with non-inert fraction potentially be recovered and reused as refuse derived fuel (RDF). The inert material meanwhile is efficiently screened and cleaned into different sizes, with its value determined by local market requirements or legislative conditions.
Key Highlights
Quick design feature overview
high capacity throughput
simple and robust design
low operating cost
low wear cost
low maintenance
high quality components throughout
modular in design - can be incorporated into an existing process
Recovery Process
The -10mm material must be screen out prior to presenting the material to the air separation unit using flip flow screen technology then an air separator separates the heavier materials such as aggregates and metals away from the lighter materials such as plastics film, paper and wood.
