We recently joined forces with UNTHA UK to bring you a straight-talking webinar on single step alternative fuel production. And if you missed it, you can listen again.
Our guest speaker, Gary Moore, director of global business development for UNTHA UK, took to the virtual stage to explore why shredding ‘waste’ to produce fuels like RDF, SRF and PEF is not just a hot topic for environmental reasons – it makes a lot of commercial sense too.
Here in Australia, we’ve started to see some great progress when it comes to better protecting the world’s resources and utilising them in our own country, but there is definitely more that can be done.
This webinar therefore focused on how to design and run profitable alternative fuel production lines, with impressive payback periods.
In this one-hour session, we covered:
- The variety of waste streams that can be turned into alternative fuel
- Untapped opportunities in the Australian market
- How to manufacture these fuels safely
- What to look for in waste machinery
When thinking specifically about the right fit technology for the job, Gary said: “It’s important to consider how profitability is engineered into the shredder design – when the technology is driven by energy efficient electric drive motors rather than diesel hungry alternatives, for example, the savings are vast!”
If you missed the session and want to catch-up, you can re-watch the webinar here.
