Free Waste Audit

Talking trash for the sake of energy at AIEN WTE Forum 2020

It was another successful AIEN’s Australian Waste to Energy Forum in Ballarat this year which brought together interested WtE professionals from across the globe – providing a platform to discuss the development and progress of the industry in Australia.

The sponsorships saw 3 great networking nights ie. the Welcome Event (17/2), the Network Night (18/2), and the entertaining Conference Dinner  held on the last evening and hosted by FOCUS enviro.

We were happy to introduce our partner UNTHA’s director of global business development, Gary Moore, who was one of the speakers in the programme. He focused on the role alternative fuels could play in shaping the country’s resource agenda.

With almost 30 years’ experience within the waste and recycling sector, Gary drew upon international examples from the ever-changing landscape to explore what role alternative fuels will play in Australia’s future resource strategy. Using successful, global WtE projects as reference points for delegates, Gary also explored whether there is a secret to high-quality fuel production for maximum environmental compliance, plant yield and operational success.

If you attended the event and want to find out more about WtE and the technologies available in Australia – or maybe you couldn’t make it but are keen to develop your knowledge – you can download UNTHA’s and FOCUS enviro’s FREE guide which covers:
