The FOCUS enviro team were proud to attend the Australian Waste to Energy Forum hosted by AIEN (Australian Industrial Ecology Network). The conference commenced from 19-21st February at the Mercure Ballarat Hotel and Convention Centre in Victoria. The Australian Waste to Energy Forum was aimed to provide a platform for all interested parties to discuss the development of a waste to energy industry within Australia!
To kick start the event, FOCUS enviro sponsored the Welcoming Function on Monday night which focused on all things green! Attendees to the conference ate, drank and partied like the Irish before the hard work began at the networking event, which included government, industry and individuals’ discussions such as; the City of Ballarat, Sustainability Victoria, SUEZ Recycling and Recovery and many more!
